Hans played an instrumental role in supporting a major change initiative at Cisco. He quickly became the calm at the heart of our team, guiding us each individually and as a team through a complex and ever-changing organizational environment.
Hans is an 'organizational whisperer', able to tease out deep structure in group identity and leverage that into a positive mindset. Beyond his communication and leadership talents, his unstoppable force flows from deep-seated ethical standards and an inherent sense of 'right'.
I had the pleasure of working with Hans at Cisco. His natural ability to communicate with all levels within our organization helped people overcome their fears of change and embrace our program efforts with a sense of optimism. I personally benefited from our interactions detailing communications for the groups I was specifically responsible for supporting.
As the founder of Kuendig Consulting Group (2012), Dr. Kuendig is an organizational psychologist with decades of experience, providing coaching, consulting and C-Suite counsel. Dr. Kuendig's PhD research delivered groundbreaking results about the experience of learning in organizations, specifically an organization that has sustained its culture and passed on its wisdom, intact, for nearly 2,500 years. And it continues to do so today.
Research findings surfaced methods and practices for 1) coaching people on their personal path of growth and development; 2) creating communiities of practice dedicated to a single intention—like an organizational culture where everyone aligns with one shared vision; and 3) capturing and passing on organizational wisdom, intact, generation to generation. Prior to founding KCG, Hans was a senior manager at Hewlett-Packard Company for 15 years, where he advised senior leaders on a wide range of domestic and international initiatives. After his time at HP, he worked as a consultant and coach for clients ranging from Fortune 500 clients to startups.
What we don't do
We do not bring 3-4 consultants to your meetings, billing you for each, when only one was needed in the room. We do not bring in junior consultants for the benefit of their training as a consultant, at your expense. We do not expand the scope of the work, for our benefit. We do not charge excessive rates.
What we do
We provide seasoned, senior-level consultants and coaches. We price our coaching and consulting based on value. We view each engagement as a learning opportunity for everyone involved. We listen to our clients, carefully. We do discovery work to clarify. We design a strategy and plan to meet your ask. We execute.
The Kuendig Group was born out of shared experiences working many leaders, organizations, and cultures. For over two decades, leaders shared their ideas, desires, and concerns, citing personal growth needs, confiding about the difficult task of leading organizations, expressing their desire to develop their people. Turns out, leaders have the same fears and challenges as everyone else.
Author and consultant, Margaret Wheatley, describes a way of being as a leader.
Our mission is to help individuals and organizations develop, adapt, and grow. Our process is a humanistic approach structured around a three phase process: discover, design, and deliver.
